LeviNet Funded Workshop
Exploiting Levitated Particles in the Quantum Regime – 794th WE Heraeus seminar

September 2023 saw the first LeviNet funded workshop take place in Bad Honnef, Germany.

Leading representatives met in the Physikzentrum for the 4-day event “Exploiting Levitated Particles in the Quantum Regime” to discuss the latest results and to exchange ideas on future research questions.

The event organisers Benjamin Stickler, Uroš Delić, and Nadine Meyer arranged a scientific program with a number of talks by leading academics, as well as a excursion to Löwenburg, a Heraeus barbecue and a poster competition.

Royal Society’s Summer Science Exhibition

LeviNet recently attended UCL’s “Unlocking the secrets of dark matter using floating glass spheres” event, part of the Royal Society’s Summer Science Exhibition.

Inaugural LeviNet Conference

In September 2022 we held the inaugural LeviNet conference at Kings College London. The 3-day event was attended by over 100 researchers and saw sessions led by leading academics in the field of Levitation.

Over 60 Institutions were involved in this event making it a great success and beneficial to all who attended. We hope to build on the success of this event with future workshops and conferences.
